How it works

Know before you press, not after the peel.

  1. 01

    Pick your ink

Each brand ships an ICC profile, a fingerprint of what its ink can and can't reproduce. We've turned four real profiles into instant lookup tables.

  2. 02

    Pick any color

Type a hex code, use the picker or eyedropper, tap a popular craft color, or browse the biggest shifters gallery for your ink.

  3. 03

See the print, and the fix

The predicted printed color side-by-side with your design, the shift severity (ΔE), and print-safe alternatives near your color that will reproduce faithfully.

This isn't a guess, it's a soft-proof

We applied each ink brand's real ICC profile as a print-simulation transform (the same math professional prepress uses) to 4,913 reference colors per brand, and shipped the results as lookup tables. Your color is predicted by interpolating that real measured data, the identical engine that powers the Print Preview in the Sublimation Designer app. Actual output also depends on press time, temperature and substrate, so treat it as a strong prediction, not a guarantee.

Color shift FAQ

The color questions every sublimation crafter eventually asks.

Bright screen reds sit right at the edge of what sublimation ink can mix, and most profiles pull them toward orange-red. The fix: choose a slightly cooler, deeper red (a touch more magenta). Check it here first, or tap a print-safe alternative and design with that.

Predictions come from real ink-brand ICC profiles applied as soft-proof transforms (perceptual intent, shown relative to the print’s own black point, so black and greys read true), a strong prediction, not a guarantee. Real results also depend on press time/temp, paper and substrate. Predictions assume you print with your ink’s ICC profile installed (desktop driver, color adjustment off); printing straight from a phone is not color-managed and will differ more. Profile quality varies by vendor. Screen colors assume an sRGB display.
